Sometimes I have to pinch myself and make sure I really do live in this gorgeous area! My husband and I have been away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles for two years and can’t picture ourselves ever moving back. We just love the slower, more relaxed way of living here in wine country. There is such a feeling of peace and community within our little town of Sonoma. Since moving here, one of our favorite things to do is to just jump in the car and start driving. We love to get lost and discover country roads and little hidden gems. On this particular day, we drove a couple miles down the road from our house to snap this fun Black Tulle + Blush post. Hope you enjoy!
I am SUPER excited to announce that The Loop is now carrying Oak & Ashland! This beautiful boutique is stocked full of American-made clothing, drool-worthy accessories (I am obsessed with their Janessa Leone hats) and now Oak & Ashland skincare. They have two locations (both of which carry Oak & Ashland) in Sonoma. The original store is right in the heart of the historic Sonoma square, and the newest location (pictured below) is tucked in at Cornerstone Sonoma (an outdoor shopping experience where you can sip wine, grab lunch and view the beautiful designed gardens). The next time you are in the shopping mood, peek into one of The Loop’s location’s and shop local!
This floral peasant top by Lauren Conrad was a steal for $33 bucks! The blush color caught my eye right away and I knew I was in love. I paired it with dark skinny jeans and some simple nude flip-flops. The cute tote was a $5 special at Target and they still have a ton, so you better run! This Paper Crown dress (a line by Lauren Conrad and Maura Oehm) is so comfortable and cute! It has a very laid-back, bohemian feel to it and I just love it. It’s perfect to wear out for a day of wine tasting, brunching or wild flower picking (as I did). This dress also comes in other colors and prints. Fun fact: Lauren Conrad was a client of mine during my West Hollywood years at Kate Somerville. She’s a class-act and one smart girl-boss! And yes, she’s just as stunning without makeup on!
